Our take

Softonic is a download portal for desktop and mobile apps, aimed at end users installing software. Publishing is free through its developer hub, but the site only suits downloadable apps rather than web-only tools. Listings aren't linked directly to developer sites, though the portal pulls about 56 million search visits a month, with India as its largest audience.

Softonic is the place to discover the best applications for your device, offering you reviews, news, articles and free downloads. Welcome to your app guide!
